    Update May 2020 - stock levels have improved and catalogue specials are back up. Friendly staff too!

    Asked for help to check if there was any stock available as the shelf was empty. Attendant was rude and told me if there's nothing on the shelf they would not have it. Did not even offer to look or offer a second pair of eyes.

    Sadly, this local Bexley IGA is the only supermarket in town and the lack of close competition equates to high prices and close to use by date goods. Advertised specials often ring up at the incorrect price and staff refuse to honour the IGA guarantee that the item should be free. No trolleys to use, only grubby hand baskets. Poor selection all round and fresh fruit and veg is expensive, consistent with high prices on most goods. I feel sorry for the elderly and disabled who can’t travel to a decent supermarket and are forced to shop at this expensive store.
